Employment law in Myanmar is governed by a patchwork of legislation which can be challenging for employers to navigate. Particularly the standard employment contract has been the topic of much discussion.

The AMCHAM HR Committee invites you to a presentation focusing on two key areas:
♦ Compliance with local requirements to employ foreign and local employees
♦ Managing overtime issues with various levels of employees

The presentation will take an in-depth look at these two employment issues and propose possible solutions for addressing them. The HR Committee welcomes interactive discussion, so please bring your questions for a Q&A discussion after the presentation.
