Have you ever pondered over the consumer sentiment shift in the Myanmar economy? How much does consumer confidence reflect the overall health of the Myanmar economy? What are the key indicators for consumer confidence? Join us on February 6 to hear the Nielsen MMRD team address these questions as they introduce the results of the Nielsen Consumer Confidence Index 2018 study.

70% of Myanmar’s population live in rural areas, presenting many opportunities for brand expansion. Companies interested in exploring ways to maximize their presence in the rural market can join this session to gain information and insights about rural Myanmar consumers on four key areas:
• CONSUMPTION: Explore movements in rural consumption patterns
• SHOPPING: Identify critical must-haves to attract rural shoppers and retail stakeholders
• MEDIA: Utilize the right channels to communicate with rural audiences
• TECHNOLOGY: Check the role of the internet in advancing the lifestyle of rural consumers.

This briefing will identify how to better engage with rural consumers and create robust strategies in targeting rural Myanmar.
