Please join us for the Summer OSAC Council Meeting on June 4 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the American Center in Yangon. This meeting will focus on how organizations working in the field in Myanmar can better handle crises when violence erupts in their area.

Representatives from the Embassy’s Regional Security Office, Consular Section, and USAID will lead a panel discussion to show how information flows within the Embassy during a crisis and how they can support American citizens and USG-affiliated partners in the field. They will examine a case study involving the emergency evacuation of American Citizens following the start of the Rakhine crisis in August 2017. The Panel will hold a Q&A before adjourning for a networking reception. Please join us.
