As we continue to expand our network infrastructure and innovated technology offerings, we are seeking a dynamic, visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technological advancements and shape the future of our company.

Position Overview

As the CTO of our Telecom and ISP company, you shall be responsible in defining and implementing the overall technology vision and strategy for our services including FTTx, DIA, Dark Fiber, MPLS, and SD-WAN services. You shall work closely with the executive team to align technology initiatives with business goals and ensure our company remains at the forefront of the industry. The CTO shall provide strategic direction, leadership, guidance, and expertise to the technology teams, driving innovation, efficiency, and scalability across all aspects of our network infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy and Innovation:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business objectives, focusing on FTTx, DIA, Dark Fiber, MPLS, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage and enhance customer experience.
  • Drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement in technology development and deployment.

Infrastructure and Network Management:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Monitor network health, capacity, and security to proactively identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks.
  • Evaluate and select hardware, software, and network technologies to support our evolving needs and drive operational efficiencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute plans for network expansion, upgrades, and enhancements.

Product Development and Innovation:

  • Lead the development and launch of innovative internet products and services that meet the evolving demands of our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive offerings to drive product enhancements and differentiation.

Technology Operations and Performance:

  • Establish and enforce robust technology operations processes, including monitoring, incident response, change management, and disaster recovery.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency, reliability, and quality of our technology infrastructure and services.
  • Implement and maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence

Security, Compliance and Data Protection:

  • Establish and maintain robust security measures to protect our network infrastructure, customer data, and sensitive information.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and implement proactive measures to safeguard our systems and customer privacy.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001.

Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing technology team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning and teamwork, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Cultivate relationships with external technology partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced technical certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar senior technology leadership role in the ISP or telecommunications industry.
  • Deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and technologies, including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing large-scale network infrastructure to deliver high-speed and reliable internet connectivity.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, virtualization, SDN/NFV, and network automation.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity practices, risk management, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to data privacy and network security.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable technology plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
