Last Friday on October 24, AMCHAM Myanmar brought together several esteemed Head of Missions and guests from various embassies, as well as our members and friends for an elegant evening at our Governors’ Dinner, at the Grand Ballroom of our Gold Corporate Partner Meliá Yangon.

On September 11, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted the latest session of our Embassy Quarterly Briefings series: the Hybrid U.S. Business Community Town Hall with Chargé d’Affaires Susan N. Stevenson on the current updates and landscape of Myanmar.

On August 28, AMCHAM Myanmar hosted an engaging evening at Novotel Yangon Max, bringing together members for sectoral updates from our key committees.

On July 5, AMCHAM Myanmar proudly hosted its Fourth Annual Independence Day Celebration & Community Picnic event at the tranquil grounds of The Strand Yangon. With over 320 participants, this year’s event was not only a joyful gathering – it was a record-breaker, making it our largest chamber event ever, highlighting the great impact of this celebration on our community.

On behalf of the TriRelief Coalition of AMCHAM Myanmar, we extend our deepest gratitude to our member Kanbawza Bank Limited and Thai President Food on donating 1080 packets of instant noodles to 327 households in the areas of Khayaypin, Yadanaguu, Bonetawnaingngan, Kyimyindaing and Hinthar Panbe (North) in Amarapura Township.

On June 26, AMCHAM Myanmar, together with eleven other foreign chambers of commerce in Myanmar, hosted the bi-annual briefing on the World Bank’s Myanmar Economic Monitor and Myanmar Power Sector Workshop in hybrid format at the World Bank Myanmar Country Office.
